The romantic ballet Giselle is a jewel of world ballet literature. A touching story about immortal love
from the pen of Théophile Gautier and Jules-Henri Vernoy de Saint-Georges has been moving audiences since 1841.
To the tune of Adolph Charles Adam’s musical score, a choreographed drama flows on the stage, in which the real world is confronted with the supernatural, the dances of mortals alternate with the aerial dances of fairies.
